The Palestine/Israel Struggle:
The Human Reality
Friday, September 21, at 7:30 PM
Helga Busemann, a Social Worker, recently returned from a study tour with the US-UK Palestine Mental Health Network. Having read and heard over the years about the continuing suffering under the occupation, she wanted to see the situation for herself.
Busemann began her journey years ago when she joined the Dialogue Project to facilitate communications between Jewish Americans and Palestinians. This presentation will look at the impact of the Israeli occupation on the mental health of both Palestinians and Israelis.
